WHAT’S THE PRICING?
All rentals are up to the price of the seller. The dress owner will receive the payment and the renter is charged a 15% service fee.
HOW ARE RETURNS HANDLED?
In the days after the event, the renter and owner agree on the hand-off point and the dress is directly handed back. This allows both parties to immediately verify and conclude their transaction.
WHAT HAPPENS IF A DRESS GETS DIRTY OR DAMAGED?
Users agree to manage all damages and cleanings between themselves. By posting a dress, the owner is accepting the possible risks. We encourage both parties to agree upon a course of action of what will happen prior to the rental pick up. But problems will occur and we will always be refining how smooth we can make it. We value community, responsibility, and sisterhood.
WHO CAN USE THE APP?
Any student with the campus .edu email can make an account!
WHY JUST STUDENTS?
We think it’s safer for everyone if we limit the users to the students on a given campus. This reminds us all that we’re in a community and have over-arching obligations to each other. These transactions are between almost-friends or possible-friends and soon-to-be-friends—so we work out issues that arise. This community focus is central to the service. Not just any strange person in the area is borrowing your dress, it’s someone you’re going to see around.
